             The Shrewsbury Public Library has many exciting programs on tap for the summer. Stop by Lake Street or review the latest copy of Chapters for information on Super Hero Training Camp, Reader's Theatre, book discussion groups, reading clubs, storytellers, a talent show, and concerts. Don't miss the fun.

          Join us after field day Friday afternoon June 5th as we walk the Jordan Pond Trail and complete fitness events to raise funds for Coolidge School's technology initiative. Your pledge or donation is greatly appreciated.

                  Teacher Appreciation Day

                                       

           Thank you for the delicious luncheon provided to the staff on Teacher Appreciation Day! It was so nice to have the opportunity to sit down with colleagues and enjoy the many treats. My favorite part was reading the letters and seeing the pictures from the students authenticating the important work we do each day. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Grand Opening Disc Gold Course

             Shrewsbury has a brand new frisbee golf course on the athletic field betwen Oak and Sherwood Middle Schools. Join friends from all the elementary schools in town to play a round. Bring your own frisbee and bottled water. Meet on the basketball court for score card and instructions. HAVE FUN!

Field Day Scheduled for June 5th

                End of Year Celebration

                                 

          The Coolidge PTO is sponsoring the annual field day for students and staff on Friday, June 5th with a rain date of June 12th should it be necessary. Volunteers are needed to help with the many stations and planning. If you are able to help out by donating supplies or time please contact the PTO or return the volunteer forms that went home in the blue communication folders.

                      Students Chronicle Their Lives

                                           

            All of the second grade students have been busy documenting the important events in their young lives. They have constructed and shared timelines with pictures and highlights of their "firsts" and special moments. Thank you for sending copies of the important photos for our work.

Early Release May 5th

                      Dismissal at 12:15

                    

           The final professional development day of the school year is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5th.Students will be dismissed at 12:15. Please notify us in advance if your child will be going home a different way than their usual routine. The cafeterias will be closed on the 5th. No breakfast or lunch will be served. Please send a morning snack with your child.
