Leadership Team Visits Coolidge

                                    Coolidge Welcomes Colleagues

                                             

The Shrewsbury Schools Leadership Team meets weekly to discuss the goals and objectives of SPS and how to move toward successful implementation. Once each month the leadership holds their meeting in one of the schools. The last in-school meeting was hosted by Mrs. Clouter here at Coolidge. During the meeting the administrative team visited classrooms and sat in as observes or active participants.

Mrs. Banios, Assistant Superintendent, was a guest of the Happy Little Hurleys. She visited a differentiated math lesson where your children were engaged in solving the problem of the lesson, showing strategies for solving multiplication problems, and investigating the table of 5. She was impressed by the students' use of success criteria and their ability to articulate how they help ensure understanding. She was also noted the students abilty to think through problems and possible solution strategies.
