When the Happy Little Hurleys entered grade two the idea of sitting on the rug and reading independently or with a partner was daunting. However; with support and encouragement the Happy Little Hurleys have discovered the magic of books and the joy of reading. As part of our 100 days celebration students came in their pajamas toting bags of books and electronics. We each read for 100 minutes - together, alone, to our stuffed animals, in text, and electroniacally - but most importantly happily and fully engaged. What a wonderful celebration for the room three community of book lovers!

100 Minutes on 100th Day
For the Love of Reading
When the Happy Little Hurleys entered grade two the idea of sitting on the rug and reading independently or with a partner was daunting. However; with support and encouragement the Happy Little Hurleys have discovered the magic of books and the joy of reading. As part of our 100 days celebration students came in their pajamas toting bags of books and electronics.
