Friday, February 7th
The Happy Little Hurleys will celebrate 100 days of school Friday, February 7th. Wear your pajamas, bring a pillow, a blanket, and most importantly a bag of your favorite books. We will read for 100 minutes and earn books for Scholastic to donate to underserved children. We will try out our first technology/tablet day. If it is successful we will repeat it on Friday afternoons when there is no All School Meeting (ASM). Students may with parent permission, bring digital reading from home on a tablet, phone, iPod etc. Technology is for appropriate, parent approved and secured digital books only - no games! We will write about how we would spend $100 and explore how many ways there are to make $1.00. Of course, roll to 100 is always a favorite.
Reading and math are hard work. Students may bring an extra snack.
