The Happy little Hurley's presented eight lessons from Cookies to their friends at an All School Meeting on Friday, March 14th. We read the book together and discussed the twenty-four lessons presented in the text. Students then completed their own cookies with ideas for lessons they could share. Each student created a poster to show one of the lessons: compassion, honesty, generosity, greed, optimism, pessimism and unfair. Once the artwork was complete the students worked in small groups to write and rehearse mini-skits for each virtue. The lessons presented by the Happy Little Hurley Theater Company were well received. The posters are now displayed throughout the building to remind all Coolidge community members to use their cookies to be good citizens.
