The PTO generously sponsored a presentation from Historical Perspectives for Children again this year. Marie Cure visited with the students Wednesday, February 4th. As we begin our biography unit Madam Cure shared the important events in her life. She showed her love of science through a series of experiments. Of course, she discussed her discovery of radium and how it is used today in the treatment of cancer.
The students are always very engaged in the presentations. Thank you to everyone for the fundraising efforts that make these programs available to the students.
