Student Teacher and SHS Volunteers
We are thrilled to have plenty of extra help in room 35. Ms. Ashley Lyon is a student at Worcester State University. She is completing her final practicum with us(aka student teaching). This month Ashley will be taking the lead in several subjects allowing me to coordinate some small group sessions with students in reading and math.
Ms. Katelyn Lajoi is a senior at Shrewsbury High School and is completing her ACE Internship. A former Coolidge student Ms. Lajoi is tutoring reading and math with our students.
Ms. Jamie is a sophomore at SHS who volunteers Tuesday and Thursday afternoons after she finishes own her classes. She too is a former Cooldige student. Ms. Jamie works with students to reinforce the days math lesson.
We are thankful for all the help and support these vital young ladies offer to our students. I look foreward to having my current students come back as a SHS tutor or a student teacher.
